Last Day

There was a bomb that went off and blew up the city. Montag was with his runaway friends. They saw the bomb coming and tried to warn people but it exploded and no one was left. He and his friends went walking and followed the old train tracks to find the people.

Today we read about Montag when he ran away. He is on the side of a rail rode track and he met about 4 or 5 other guys. But before he ran away he crassed a river and lost the hound and the helecopters. So they made up a ending so they would end the news with a bang. They caught a guy that was just walking down the street.

Today I read about Montag was is wanted for murder. But he ran away and is on the run from the cops. It was about Montag almost being hit buy a beetle(car) but he fell so the car couldnt hit him becuse the car was going to fast and would have fliped if it had rn him over. When the car drove past him it ran over his finger. He thought that the car just cam to scare him but then it turned around and started speedingback. Montag ran into an alley before the car had seen where he had whent.

Today the firehouse reponded to a call. They went and it was Montags house, as they arrived Montags wife was going into a beetle(care/Taxi) and driving away. She was the one who called the firemen to the house. The captain told montag that because it was his house he would have to burn it all. But he would have to burn it by hand with a torch and not kerosene and a match.

PLOT:

This part of the story Mrs. Phelps, and Mrs. Bowles cam over to Montags house. He had a book and told the ladys that once a year the firemen get to bring home books to show their family that the books are a bunch of humble jummble stuff. He was reading a poetry book to the people. Mrs. Bowles hated the poetry because it has emotion and feeling and they didnt like that. So Montag and Mrs. Bowles got into a argument and Montag ended up telling Mrs Bowles she had to leave.

I think this part of the book I think they are planning on starting a book publishing compony. They talk about books being withheld from everyone and books having alot of information and being able to take your mind around the world.

Update

Today I understood it a bit better. We started on part 2 of the book. This part of the book is mainly talking about the book that they stole. It turned out to be a bible whicjh is the last bible in their area. The are talking about the way that they are going to try and give it back. They wanted to try and keep it. They wanted to give the firehouse another book because they knew he barrowed a book but they didnt know which one. He thought of giving back another book instead of the bible, but if they knew which one he barrowed, they may think he has a library of book then come and burn down his house.

I didnt understand this part of the book but kinda understood what was happening. The fireman was sick at home. The fire captain came over and had a talk with him and his wife. He talked to them about the books and the past. He toled them that alot of firemen have an itch to look at the books they are reading. He toled them that there is nothing inside. He told them that there used to be porches on the outside of the houses where people would sit to think or talk. When he left the husband had to tell his wife something. He told her he had books then showed them to her. She was terrafied and tried to throw them in the incinarator, but his husband stoped her from doing it.

They go to a old 3 story house and find a lady looking at a space of nothing on the wall. He talks about how they dont hert anyone because they just burn books and books dont hurt. The lady says the books are in the attic and starts screaming. So the police had to tape her up until they were done.
